VIEW THE FOUR HORSEMEN SHORT SEQUENCE

The Four Horsemen is a short film commissioned by the per cent for arts scheme in the regeneration of a Suburban town in Dublin called Ballymun. Shot on super16mm with two Arri camera's and a dedicated crew the film looks at the personification of Disease and his constant stuggle with life. 'We ran a bleach bypass on the negative in the lab and squashed the blacks in the grade to give a high contrast. I also wanted to give the scenes in the church a sense of the magnificent so approached the design and lighting with high production values akin to that of a feature film.
